We loved the western decor and the ambiance of the "older" building. I was very happy to have a firm mattress. We have stayed there in the past and will do so in the future. We have family in Moab and appreciated the close location to the main street.
Convenient location, well equipped and free internet
Very noisy at night as trucks are rushing through on the nearby highway all night long; breakfast not included; we had requested a room on the upper floor but did not get it although we had made the reservation several months in advance
Room was not luxury but comfortable and reasonably priced.
Hotel is along main road and you can hear traffic all night long.
Great (although not prime in Moab) location, uncommon decor of the rooms.
Steep price for just a spruced-up motel. Despite the attached to the hotel restaurant, no continental breakfast included (a mere 10% discount offered instead). Cookie-cutter, tired hotel room layout. Just another motel with a slightly nicer decor than others.
1) Good , central location in the middle of town of moab, ut . 2) There is a rather popular grill / restaurant , next to lobby. 3) Front desk personnel , very helpful for suggesting tours .
1) Not Even coffee for guests in the lobby, & no early continental breakfast . 2) Has a " WI-FI " , but NO Internet PC for e-mail & map searches , as does most Best Westerns & Red Lions that I have stayed at this year . 3) Bathrooms are " Very TINY " . 4) The Lobby & rooms , do NOT appear to be well shown per the web-page.
Nice Room and good location for food and access to National Parks.
Too many stairs on 2ns floor and no elevator. No ice machine on my floor - had to clime all those stairs just for ice. Many vending machines out of order.
Room was very dark and the air cond. unit was insufficient.
Location. Great cafe next door.
No laundry. Only one ice machine and it was on the first floor. My roommate has lost part of her lung so the extra walking up and down from our 2nd story room was problematic. TV old so not a very good picture. No channel guide. Maid forgot to come back to our room to make it up one day. We checked out and went to another motel which had better amenities at $30 less per night.
The room was large and clean--but very dark and depressing. Knotty pine walls with dark bedspreads and insufficient lighting. Better places to stay in Moab for the money! Jackie Grimaldi
A/C very noisey,tv clicker broken, reported twice not fixed room very dark with all lights on, prices decreased on day of arrival significantly below what I paid and subsequently to $69.00 .
Big room. Nice towels. Wifi. Near parks, grocery store, good value.
Dragging luggage up steps to second floor.
Quiet, natural charm and friendly staff
The unfair reviews on the internet prior to our visit
That it is unique unlike other hotel chains.
Ceiling fan was not working in the room, but they did get it repaired and offered us breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. Very nice staff. room decor was very nice.
bed was not the most comfortable. Okay for a night or two, but would not have wanted to stay longer.
We felt that your amenities were very poor-no free continental breakfast-no newspapers-We checked later with other hotels in your area with comparable price range & they did offer them-Our next trip out there will not include the Big Horn Lodge
